Created originally at Springboard Danse Montreal as a work in process (Mark, 2018 emerging choreographer), BIG KID later was turned into an evening length work also featuring the dancers of Mark Caserta + Artists, what is now BigKid Dance! This work’s title and story inspired the name for BigKid Dance and the work we make.

A reflection on detaching from the past. Facing childhood trauma of having to stifle myself, while trying to understand my identity in a world I didn’t belong in. Unlearning to learn to love myself.
