BigKids in the Park

-Open, Free Community Movement Sessions-

These Movement Sessions are brought to you by the dance artists of BigKid Dance. A dance artist will lead an open, improvisational dance class in a selected park, giving dancers and pedestrians alike the chance to move freely and enjoy the flow of creativity movement practice. All levels are always welcome, we only ask that everyone keep an open mind and respect the creative space. No judgement zone!

Description of Movement Session: The teacher will guide you through an easy, restorative, creative movement practice. They will provide you with shapes, textures, imagery and suggestive ideas to play with in your imagination and express through your own natural body movement. Everything is made up on the spot, in the moment, so it is truly a FREE dance experience. Depending on the majority level of the class, the teacher may progress to a more rigorous, energetic movement practice, but it’s up to you how much you want to partake in along the way!
